What I liked…
- full king-size bed
- bathroom was nice to look at and quiet spacious
- combination light switches and USB outlets
- right in the center of the busy downtown core
- both shampoo and body wash in the bathroom (didn't find much of either at other hotels on this trip)
What I didn’t like so much…
- shampoo and body wash were in odd-shaped clear plastic wrappers (single use size). the product itself was good but VERY difficult to open without using your teeth when you are wet in the shower
- had to unscrew the light bulbs for the bedside lamps because we could not find one lightswitch that would turn them off
- no storage or much counterspace in the bathroom
- the in-shower wire shelf did not hold anything - not a bar of soap, a razor or anything! Everything feel through the wide openings.
- the public parking lot we were to use was about 3-4 blocks away in the middle of a plaza (public square)
We were there only for one Saturday night and it turned out to be a VERY busy night for their downtown. A concert was happening at a nearby hall and a marathon was starting at 8pm that evening. Sounds exciting, but it seemed to be customary for a live drum band to cheer on the runners in the marathon...and they were set up just outside our hotel and drummed until midnight. Made me wish we were night owls!
