Vincci Palace

What I liked…
- We were only there for one night, but it fit the bill for what we needed.
- room was an average size, very clean and modern and designed well
- the lobby and nearby bar area are filled with sleek furniture and table sets that always seem ready for a night out for cocktails (its too bad we didn't have time to join in the fun!)
- the front desk staff also acted as concierges and were very helpful in securing us lunch reservations and suggestions on where to ask the taxi to bring us for the perfect seaside afternoon
- they had a sign in the lobby offering a boxed breakfast "to-go" package that you could pre-order for your departure. Although we weren't leaving at a time where it would have been useful, it was a terrific alternative to the standard continental breakfast buffet
- parking is available in the lower level of the hotel
What I didn’t like so much…
- We were hoping to be closer to a bustling beach-side area, but the beaches are quite a distance away (20-25 minutes taxi ride).
- the elevator to the parking lot underneath the building is NOT the easiest to use. It is small and a VERY tight fit and trying to turn the car around in the alley way to get the car in line to enter the elevator was a 50-point turn.
I spotted a Vincci Palace hotel in Madrid as well, so I was impressed enough for this short stay that I will look them up for my next trip.
